UPS and Generator Witness Testing
At EcoPowerSupplies we provide documented test procedures and results for clients who require this service. We can arrange for UPS and generator Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at the UPS manufacturer’s premises (up to 6MVA) or our Chester facility (up to 1MVA). A typical test program can take 2-3 days including travel when conducted at a factory if they are based in Europe allowing for travel time. We can normally run through a pre-agreed test program at our Chester facility within a day and use our own test gear and load banks. Where any specific analysers are required these can be hired for the duration. EcoPowerSupplies also provides Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for UK and European clients as required.
FAT and SAT programs ensure the UPS and/or generator configuration is set up and performs exactly to specification. Typical attendees include client representatives, specifiers, engineers and other key personnel. The test programmes provide an opportunity to discuss results and make any final adjustments prior to final load connection.
