Racktivity Rack Power Management PDUs
Racktivity power distribution units (PDUs) are intelligent and allow you to distribute, measure, monitor and control power within your infrastructure. Racktivity EnergySwitch Smart PDUs are intelligent power distribution units with advanced metering and switching capabilities. They all use the Racktivity real-time operating system known as EnergyOS to provide real-time, granular power quality metrics including remote PDU-level and outlet-level true RMS monitoring of current (A), voltage (V), power (VA, W), power factor (%) and energy consumption (kWh) with +/- 1% accuracy.

Optional Sensors, Branch Circuit Monitoring and Software
Environment Management
The Racktivity E2Sensor family provides environmental monitoring information for datacentre infrastructures and remote sites. The E2Sensor can be used to monitor a wide range of parameters including temperature, humidity, water leakage, access, motion detection, rack door closed/open, smoke detection and other settable parameters.
The E2Sensor is designed to work with any Racktivity PDU or product with an R-BUS connector including the branch circuit monitoring products AC2Meter and DC2Meter. The E2Sensor is compact (5cm) and is supplied with an OLED display. The device uses RJ45 connections and has multiple rackmount options for fitting.
The E2Sensor has a simple push-button for access to measurements and can operate within the DCPM software package.
Infrastructure Power Management
The AC2Meter (AC supplies) and DC2Meter (DC supplies) can be installed within power distribution boards or in remote locations such as POPs, base stations and head ends. The ACL series is designed to monitor and meter AC power busbar systems or electrical cabinets. All the infrastructure power management devices are DIN rail mount with Ethernet connectivity and provide multiple inputs for current measurements. All work with the environmental E2Sensor and the meters can be fully integrated and monitored with the DCPM software package. For more information see our Branch Circuit Monitoring Solutions.
Power Management Software
Racktivity’s power management software DCPM allows you to monitor and optimise your power and environmental efficiency. The DCPM package is a performance and power management system that allows you to monitor, control, visualize and automatically control power and environmental parameters within your datacentres, comms rooms and telecoms infrastructures. The combined products (PDUs and DCPM) help to reduce an organisations OPEX (operating costs), save energy and reduce carbon footprints.
The DCPM package provides real-time data monitoring and an extensive data model for analyse and power control. The package is web-based and has a highly intuitive interface that can provide a easy to use view of an entire IT facility. Within the software package you can monitor individual sockets on the PDUs and additional sensors (where fitted) across your infrastructure including PODs, rows, racks and any other type of infrastructure including branch circuits.
