Multi Power Modular UPS Systems

The Riello Multi Power UPS is a modular UPS system based around 42kW power modules. A Power cabinet can house up to 7 power modules providing uninterruptible power from 42-294kW in a single cabinet and providing either parallel N+X resilience or power capacity. A Battery cabinet is used for slide-in battery packs to provide battery runtime. There is also a Combo cabinet providing space for 3 power modules (126kW) and five internal battery shelves. The battery shelves house individual slide-in battery packs.

Multi Power is a modular UPS system that can scale vertically (up to 294kW) and with Power cabinets that can be operated in parallel (up to four) to over 1MW (1176kW). The Battery cabinet can house up to four battery units, with up to 36 battery units within a single battery cabinet frame. Up to 10 Battery cabinets can be connected in parallel for increased runtimes.

Multi Power Power cabinets are designed for medium to large-scale datacentres, The smaller capacity Combo cabinet provides power protection for smaller sized datacentres and comms rooms.

Multi Power is an intelligent power system with advanced microprocessor controls. The UPS Power Modules are controlled by three microprocessors, each with a different function. The Power Cabinets also feature two separate microprocessors covering UPS operations management and communication. Each module and component is monitored for temperature and the Power cabinet four-temperature monitor. Each UPS power module has three speed controlled fans. The battery modules also incorporate internal protection and battery monitoring for reporting back to the centralised management system.
