Power Protection Notes for Eco UPS Systems
High efficiency UPS systems must be capable of operating at 95-96% or greater efficiency in on-line mode and over a wide load acceptance range. Traditional UPS systems had a narrow area within their efficiency curves where they reached a peak efficiency. Modern UPS systems should be able to deliver 95-96% or greater on-line efficiency over a wider load range from as low as 20% capacity.
